Tidal Pool
Arch. Siza Vieira, 1966
Portugal is made of beautiful landscapes and great buildings, and when we combine both, we get something like this.
The tidal pool was made by the portuguese architecture Siza Vieira, in 1966, and for that time, it was some kind of futuristic architecture, that’s why after almost 50 years, its architecture remains current.
This is a group of salt water pools that were implemented below the avenue with the intention to not obstruct the vision.
The season begins in June and it is open till September and the price starts in 1,60€ for children and can go up to 5,50€.
